The Mission

100 Years of Route 66

BJJ martial arts community training

Route 66 Roll Across America is a multi-state centennial celebration designed to honor the 100th anniversary of Historic Route 66 — exploring the people, communities, and businesses that continue to embody its spirit.

Organized in partnership with Jiu Jitsu Insurance, the project travels the full length of Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica, visiting Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and mixed martial arts academies located along or near the historic route.

The mission: connect martial arts communities across eight states while promoting travel, local commerce, and cultural storytelling during the Route 66 Centennial.
